Hotel Nineteen is appreciated for its superb location, close to the beach and convenient to attractions like the lanes, with pubs and clubs such as the Queens Arms, plus a Morrisons and cafes, within easy reach. Guests often highlight the beautifully decorated and clean rooms, some mentioning the 'Gin Room' specifically, which feature amenities like air conditioning, tea/coffee facilities with Nespresso machines, and complimentary treats such as crisps and biscuits. Some ground floor rooms in the Victorian terrace can feel a little cold, but extra blankets are available to enhance comfort. The inclusion of Rituals shower gel is a particularly well-received touch.

i stayed in the 'gin room', it was clean. the room was decorated to a very high standard with a lovely ensuite bathroom. a daily cleaning service happened with towel replacement if requested. complimentary items like a bag of crisps and some chocolate cake biscuits were provided on arrival.
The check-in time was after 3, and we had to leave before 10. It felt a bit expensive for the duration of our stay.

The room itself was lovely and felt clean. there was a really nice, big window letting in lots of light. i liked that the hotel created a digital guidebook. It was very handy when i was out. it featured pubs and restaurants.
The room was a bit small for what i paid, i think. the walls seems thin. I could hear a lot through them.
